Health Ministries

The Baton Rouge Seventh-day Adventist Church Health Ministries Department is a dynamic and compassionate resource dedicated to fostering a community of holistic well-being. Committed to the principles of health and healing, our department strives to reach people of all ages and walks of life, guiding them towards a path of abundant living.

Our mission is rooted in the belief that a healthy lifestyle is essential for both physical and spiritual vitality. Through a variety of engaging activities and purposeful programs, we aim to promote a holistic approach to health, encompassing physical, mental, emotional, social, occupational/ environmental, and spiritual well-being. Our ultimate goal is to contribute to the spiritual growth of our community and church members, leading them to adopt and embrace a balanced and healthful way of life.

At the core of our vision is the understanding that a well-balanced lifestyle not only positively impacts individual lives but also serves as a powerful witness to the presence of God and His divine will. We strive to create environment where individuals and families can flourish in every aspect of their lives, thereby reflecting the wholeness and abundance that God desires for His people.

As ambassadors of the gospel, we are unwavering in our commitment to bringing the message of healing through Christ to all corners of our community. Through any means necessary, our department is dedicated to ministering to the physical, mental, and spiritual needs of those who seek the transformative power of the gospel. In doing so, we aim to make a lasting and positive impact on the lives of individuals, drawing them closer to God and facilitating a deeper understanding of His love and purpose for each person.
